PAIR of Period Chippendale Chairs England
c. 1770
A PAIR of period Chippendale chairs. The carving on the back splats is exceptional in its detail. These 18th century side chairs are made of mahogany with a soft, glowing patina. The seat depth is shallow, as was typical of the period, but these are surprisingly comfortable and quite sturdy. Ready for reupholstering. Price listed is for the pair.
